We know nobody actually reads disclaimers. But we wrote this one anyway — because we think you deserve to know exactly where we stand, not buried in legal language, but plainly and honestly.
We try hard — but we’re not perfect
Every story we publish has been researched, verified, and reviewed. But journalism is a human endeavour, and humans make mistakes. If we get something wrong, we will say so — clearly, at the top of the article, not hidden in a footnote. We don’t quietly edit stories and pretend errors never happened. That’s not who we are.
Nobody tells us what to write
Not advertisers. Not governments. Not anyone with money or influence. Our editorial team makes every decision independently. When you read an opinion or analysis piece, it reflects the view of the journalist who wrote it — not the entire outlet. We believe in the difference between news and opinion, and we work hard to keep that line clear.
We are not doctors, lawyers, or financial advisors. Please don’t make serious life decisions based solely on what you read here. Our job is to inform — yours is to think critically and seek expert guidance when it matters.
Links we share are not endorsements
Sometimes we link to external sources to give you more context. That doesn’t mean we vouch for everything on those pages. The internet changes fast — a source we link to today may look different tomorrow. We try to choose reliable references, but we can’t control what other websites do.
Our work belongs to us — please respect that
Every article, photo, and piece of original content on this site took real time and effort to produce. You’re welcome to share our work — that’s actually what we hope you’ll do. But please don’t copy it, republish it, or pass it off as your own without asking us first. A quick message is all it takes.
