Terms & Conditions
Last updated: April 2026
Most terms and conditions are written to protect websites from people. These are written to be fair to both of us. We’ll keep it plain. If something isn’t clear, just ask.
By being here, we have a small agreement
When you visit and use this website, you’re agreeing to these terms. We’re not asking you to sign anything just to be reasonable. We’ll do the same. That’s really the spirit of all of this.
What we promise you
We promise to do our jobs with honesty and care. Every piece of content we publish goes through a real editorial process. We won’t fabricate stories, push propaganda, or let outside interests shape what we report. If we make a mistake and sometimes we will and we’ll own it and fix it publicly. No hiding, no excuses.
We also promise to keep this website as accessible and reliable as we can. There will occasionally be technical hiccups that’s just the reality of running a website but we’ll always work to resolve them quickly.
“We built this outlet on the idea that honest journalism still matters. These terms exist to protect that not to build walls between us and our readers.”
What we ask of you
Not much, honestly. Just a few reasonable things:
Don’t spread our work without credit. If you share our articles, please link back to the original. Journalism takes time and resources attribution matters.
Don’t republish our content as your own. You can quote us, reference us, and link to us freely. But copying full articles and publishing them elsewhere without asking isn’t okay.
Be respectful in comments and interactions. We believe in open, honest conversation including criticism of our work. But harassment, hate speech, or deliberate misinformation won’t be tolerated here.
Don’t use this site for anything harmful. No scraping, no bots, no attempts to disrupt the platform. We put real effort into building this please treat it accordingly.
Our content is ours but we want it read
Everything written and published here belongs to us. That’s not us being possessive it’s just how copyright works. But we genuinely want our journalism to reach as many people as possible. So share it, talk about it, quote it in your essays and discussions. Just don’t strip our name off it.
External links a quick word
Sometimes we link to other websites for context or further reading. Once you leave our site, we can’t control what you encounter. We try to link to credible places, but we can’t be responsible for content that isn’t ours. Use your own judgment you clearly already do, which is why you’re reading us.
If something goes wrong
We’re not going to hide behind legal language here. If something on this website causes you a problem, talk to us first. We’re reachable, we’re reasonable, and we’d rather work things out directly than let misunderstandings escalate. We’re a team of journalists not a corporation with a legal department on speed dial.
We may update these terms
If we ever make meaningful changes to these terms, we’ll let you know not just silently update the date and hope nobody notices. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
